When Lauren got engaged to Chris in the summer of 2014 and asked us to photograph her wedding, 2016 sounded so far away!  It seems like we blinked a few times and all of the sudden, their wedding day was here!  The weather didn’t look promising with the forecast calling for 2-4 inches of snow, but with the beautiful flowers, rustic centerpieces that Lauren created, and the spring dresses and boots, it definitely felt like spring and love was in the air!

Lauren and Chris crack us up…we constantly joke about their engagement session because Lauren was a little too eager to hop onto a fallen tree and practically threw herself over a hillside just to get the perfect shot…our kind of bride!  Luckily Chris was there to catch her and we even got the photo too!

It’s so exciting to watch two people who have been in love for so long commit to each other for the rest of their lives.  These two have the kind of love that doesn’t hold back, and we love that about them.  They’re honest with each other and joke about everything.  We wish them so much happiness and love as they enjoy the beginning of their lives as husband and wife!
