Stephanie and Joe’s wedding day began with beautiful summer-like temperatures and so much sunshine! The pastor gave such a thoughtful homily and every guest in attendance was involved throughout the ceremony. As we entered the reception hall, we soaked in the beautiful wooden beams and warm cozy feel! Stephanie’s dad gave an unforgettable speech that had everyone laughing and the toasts were even more confirmation that these two have such a wonderful group of family and friends who love them. One special part of the day that really stood out was when I glanced over at Stephanie as they sat down at the head table. She was simply looking around, awestruck at what she and her family had created with the centerpieces and decorations, but also at all of the people surrounding her. She seemed so completely happy, thankful, and content with everything at that moment, and I thought to myself “every bride needs these kinds of moments”. I really enjoyed watching her just relax and soak in her wedding day! I also realized at that point that all of the moments that brides AREN’T doing that is what makes our job as photographers so important!
We had such a blast at Stephanie and Joe’s wedding, and we know life is going to be amazing for them! Joe is so accomplished in the medical field already and Stephanie has a heart for helping others! Congratulations you two! Enjoy your journey together!!!
Maybe one of the funnies moments of the day…full blown cartwheel!
