We are so excited to be blogging our first 2018 wedding!  Winter weddings aren’t common for us but we were thrilled to be able to celebrate with Lesley and Adam during their January wedding!  Even though they didn’t have snow, their wedding day was still magical!

One of the best parts of their day was before the ceremony when Lesley had a special “first look” with her brother.  It was so incredibly heart warming to see the emotion flood over him as he saw his sister in her wedding gown.  Their relationship is definitely a special one and we loved being able to capture that moment for them.

Lesley and Adam had a beautiful vision for their wedding day.  They incorporated various pine branches and trees, and snow-dusted pinecones to their ceremony space and with the stone pillars in the background, it had such a cozy, winter feel!  Their reception was just as gorgeous with a lot of D.I.Y. touches that looked extremely elegant!  Their cake was the perfect fit for their day, and one of our favorite details of the day was the Lady and the Tramp figurine that they bought because Adam grew up with Schnauzers and they’re both Italian!  How adorable is that?

We knew that Lesley and Adam wanted a photo with snow for their wedding day, but with it being fifty degrees, we were pretty positive it wasn’t going to happen for them.  Luckily however, we did have rain throughout the evening, so we were able to sneak them outside towards the end of the night and get a shot that turned into one of our new favorites!

Lesley and Adam have such a genuine relationship.  We loved spending time with them throughout their day and we wish them nothing but happy memories as they celebrate life together!  <3
