Autumn is our FAVORITE time for engagement sessions and these two were perfection!  The air was crisp and the colors did not disappoint!  Mike and Katie are such a special couple to us because we all graduated from St. Vincent College together so to be able to go back to the campus together and relive all of the great memories we made was amazing!

Mike and Katie were athletes at St. Vincent and they have so many stories about all of their experiences while training and practicing on campus.  As we began their session in the intramural fields, Mike asked if we could take a second to grab a shot on a bench under a tree.  He explained that he had a vivid memory of running the trail with Katie and taking a break during the run to sit on the bench and talk with her.  He remembers it being a really special time in their relationship, and he even remembers what hoodie she had on and all of the details of that moment (seriously adorable!).  Later in the session he took  us to the exact spot where he proposed and told us the hilarious story involving some of our favorite professors on campus and how he pulled it off.  Katie also had a photo request and she prefaced it by saying “this is gonna be super weird but I really love to squeeze his cheeks…can we get a picture of that?!”  These are the exact kinds of photos that we love to capture, because it’s them!  A genuine moment and characteristic of their relationship that they’ll always remember!  Their engagement session ended with a beautiful sunset that we couldn’t resist and they of course rocked some silhouette shots!  We are so pumped for their wedding next July!  Mike and Katie have some serious chemistry and their love was so enjoyable to photograph!
