Brandon and Alicia’s engagement session was full of soft light and the first hints of fall leaves. We were extremely thankful to dodge the rain, and we ended up with a near perfect evening! We started at the heart of Linn Run and worked our way up to the summit of the Laurel Highlands. After finding some magical spots and even some fog, we made the descent back down to the entrance where we caught the last bits of sunshine. Brandon and Alicia were acquaintances of ours from our college days at Saint Vincent, and we were able to reconnect with them this past summer when they asked us to photograph their wedding. These two have a definite love for nature and the simplicity of being outdoors together. We talked a lot about all of the hiking that they’ve done together, and where they plan to travel in the future. They also shared some camping stories with us, and gave us some advice on some killer breakfast spots! We love how true and simple their love is, and we feel that we captured them in their element. Their wedding next October is sure to be a perfect reflection of the love that they share!
