Kilts, traditions, and a beautiful view of Pittsburgh!  What else could you ask for?!  Meredith and Steve’s wedding was so unique and full of culture!

These two met while at Pitt and they make such a great couple!  Steve is from Scotland and we loved all of the meaning behind every part of the wedding day that demonstrated his heritage!  One of our most favorite parts of the day had to be the beautiful hand tying ceremony.  It was a symbol of the unity that forms during a relationship and marriage.  Meredith also has a pretty unique tradition in her family!  Her tradition involves the bride getting married on her birthday!  What makes it even better is that Meredith has a twin sister Rose, so from here on out they all have a lot to celebrate on December 1st!  Guests enjoyed a bagpiper and harpist during the ceremony and reception as well as some crazy dancing and fingertip LED lights that Steve was pumped about!  The view of Pittsburgh during their reception was also breathtaking and a treat for all of Meredith and Steve’s out of town guests!

We had such a great time getting to know these two as they begin their lives together!  We wish them peace and happiness as they continue to make memories together!  Congratulations Meredith and Steve!
