Allyson and David’s Dream Mountain Ranch wedding was absolutely breathtaking with gorgeous weather, beautiful handmade and heartfelt decor, and an amazing couple!  We were so thankful that they had good weather after a very rainy engagement session!  Allyson had the sweetest bridesmaids who all helped with hair and makeup in the morning.  When her flowers arrived, the girls added a fabric flower cluster made from fabric of dresses from family members that included labels with their names and wedding dates.  Her grandmother also made the ring bearer cushion with fabric from her wedding gown.  These types of custom touches are some of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding day!

Once the guys arrived, Allyson and David had a first look with each other at the edge of a beautiful field overlooking the forest.  This was the most perfect spot for these photos…the view was amazing!  After some sweet moments between the couple, the bridal party joined them for more photos and then we headed to the ceremony space with the decorated floral circle accent piece that Allyson created!  The ceremony was so genuine and heartfelt, with live musicians and readings from family members.  After the ceremony, we headed to the pavilion for the reception, which included custom beer taps, an absolutely gorgeous wedding cake, and a tablecloth for the sweetheart table that was also made by Allyson’s grandmother out of her wedding gown.  How sweet is that!?  There were so many other heartfelt touches added to this wedding that really spoke to what tight knit and loving families Allyson and David have!

I can’t end this blog post without giving a HUGE shoutout to my second shooter, my cousin Emily.  She stepped in for Stanley for this wedding and did an absolutely AMAZING job!  It’s pretty crazy how full circle we’ve come together as photographers, because she’s the reason that I bought my first Canon camera and became interested in photography!  To shoot a wedding with her was pretty special and we had so much fun together!

We were thrilled to be able to spend Allyson and David’s special day with them, and we wish them a future full of love and joy!!!  Congratulations you two!  Let the adventure begin!
